& BEATS

Currently in the studio co-producing, mixing, and mastering a project collaboration. First previews coming soon!

I’ve been making beats for over two years now. I started out on a tiny Akai MPK mini and recently upgraded to a Novation FLkey. Everything creative happens inside FL Studio—that’s where I cook up all my loops and core melodies. But when it comes to the final mix and master, I prefer to move the stems over to Cubase because I feel its engine just handles audio summing and mixing much better. Aside from beats, I actually composed and produced the entire soundtrack for my short film completely from scratch. Right now, I’m still messing around with different styles, trying out EDM and house remixes to see where it takes me, but making beats is what I always come back to.

A huge part of my technical foundation comes from my high school audio teacher, a lifelong sound engineer who has produced multiple albums and mixed countless tracks for local bands. Even though our musical genres are worlds apart, he taught me the true physics and precision of sound. This technical discipline is what allowed me to completely compose and produce the entire soundtrack for my short film on my own, and it's a standard I bring into every audio project I touch.
